Foam extinguishing agent 3%P (Protein foam extinguishing agent model YE-3) is a kind of concentrated foam fire-extinguishing agent with animal protein hydrolysate as main component and enjoys two years of shelf life. It is suitable for extinguishing fire on water insolvable substances (Type B fire) such as petroleum and related products, on solid combustible materials such as timber, paper, cotton, linen and synthetic fiber, but not on water solvable substances such as alcohol, aether, ester, ketone, etc. Through the special technique proportion, it eliminates the odor of animal protein foam, in clear color, with little deposit, volume mixture ratio to freshwater or seawater of 3:97 for 3%P Type.
